FPEF Scholarship Awards
The Foundation’s endowment provides scholarships for deserving Fayetteville High School seniors to attend college and advance their careers.
Scholarship Funds can be directed toward students attending a particular school, studying a particular subject or field, need or merit, and named in honor or memory of an individual or group.
2023 Scholarship Recipients
Amount: $2,500
Candy Clark Scholarship
Students currently enrolled at Fayetteville High School, Fayetteville Virtual
Academy, or ALLPS who plan to attend a 2 or 4 year institution, vocational college, and/or certification programs.
Amount: $1,250
Mary Lou Miller Scholarship
Students currently enrolled at Fayetteville High School, Fayetteville
Virtual Academy, or ALLPS who plan to attend a 2 or 4 year institution, vocational college, and/or certification programs.

Students currently enrolled at Fayetteville High School, Fayetteville

Nathan Altman Writing Scholarship
A creative writing scholarship intended for students currently enrolled at Fayetteville High School who plan to attend the University of Arkansas or an institute of Higher Education.

Dr. Benny A. Winborn Scholarship
Intended for graduating seniors at Fayetteville High School who are first-generation or second-generation college-bound students - the first person in the immediate family to attend
college.
Amount: $5,923
Marty Thurlby Deweese Study Abroad Scholarship
Intended for current or former Fayetteville High School students to study or travel abroad. It is based on merit and need and encourages foreign travel, the study of foreign languages, the exploration of other cultures, understanding of other peoples, and an awareness of ourselves as world citizens.
Amount: $6,278
Heather Spears Memorial Scholarship
Heather Spears Memorial Scholarship is intended for students currently enrolled at Fayetteville High School who plan to attend the University of Arkansas or an institute of Higher Education.
Amount: $1,000
Matthew J. Siebenmorgen Scholarship
Intended for an outstanding Fayetteville High School senior who will be attending a college or university upon graduation and will not likely receive other major scholarship awards. The scholarship is intended to commemorate the ideals and life of Matthew, who was an outstanding student academically, was in excellent standing among his teachers, and was dedicated to family, church, and civic activities. He had a tremendous work ethic, particularly in home, community, and church activities.
Amount: $750
Matthew J. Siebenmorgen Scholarship
Intended for an outstanding Fayetteville High School senior who will be attending a college or university upon graduation and will not likely receive other major scholarship awards. The scholarship is intended to commemorate the ideals and life of Matthew, who was an outstanding student academically, was in excellent standing among his teachers, and was dedicated to family, church, and civic activities. He had a tremendous work ethic, particularly in home, community, and church activities.
