the challenge
State funding supports grades K-12. However, our teachers provide opportunities that go beyond primary education, such as early learning, enrichment outside of the classroom, college navigation, and job placement. Despite state funding limitations our teachers prepare our students to succeed in the classroom and lay the groundwork to prosper beyond graduation.
the solution
Fayetteville Public Education Foundation (FPEF) exists solely to provide our educators and children support outside of public funding. It is clear that the only way to build upon our tradition of excellence is through private funding to underwrite innovative programs that keep our district-wide education exceptional. Reaching New Heights gifts will be distributed annually to support a number of activities such as:

Pre-K is the number one indicator of a child’s chances to succeed and to develop a pathway out of poverty.

Enrichment programs boosts academic performance, education equity and transformational opportunites for children.

Increasing educational attainment to better access workforce and higher education opportunities to close the equity gaps.
