“Over three decades of practice in Fayetteville, Stanton has seen his once-tiny practice grow into a large family business. When the business opened in 1971, he was the only vet, on call 24 hours a day. His wife, Susie, was the receptionist and office manager. Now, he has two hospitals and five full-time vets on staff as well as about 15 support personnel. Together, Stanton estimates, they see about 15,000 to 20,000 patients each year.”
