Letter from the Alumni Advisory Board President

Welcome to the Alumni Family!

Graduating high school is a big deal. Graduating from Fayetteville High School is a bigger deal! In all seriousness, congratulations. As you embark on the next chapter of your lives and careers, I hope you retain your purple dog pride. Some of the best and toughest memories occur during those high school years. However, I assure you that your best dies lie ahead. That pride means something different to each of us, but it still connects us to one another.

You are now part of a legacy that includes artists, educators, entrepreneurs, public servants (hit me up if you’re interested in this career path), and trailblazers of all kinds. People who once walked the same halls and now make a difference in Arkansas and beyond. That legacy is yours to grow.

This is just the beginning. Lean into it, take chances, and pursue your dreams unapologetically. You’re going to make some CRAZY mistakes in the coming years, but that’s a good thing if you learn from them. Just try to be right more often than when you’re wrong, and you’ll be alright.

Regardless of where your next steps lead you, we hope you’ll stay engaged with us and continue to find meaning in your connection to Fayetteville Public Schools. This community will always be cheering you on.

Congratulations again, Bulldogs! We can’t wait to see what comes next.

With pride,

Jacob Arnold
